Survivor-led safeguarding norms for cohorts, volunteers, digital tools, and referrals.
Core commitments
- Facilitated sessions with published scope and crisis routing (911 / 988).
- No public naming of participants, employers, or case details.
- Volunteer roles with clear boundaries — no legal or clinical advice.
- Consent before any referral or information sharing.
- Incident review within 48 hours for digital scope breaches.
Volunteer & facilitator duties
- Redirect crisis situations to 911 / 988 immediately.
- Do not collect unnecessary identifiers in group settings.
- Report scope breaches to the safeguarding lead.
- Complete onboarding before facilitating cohort sessions.
