Accessibility statement
We align with Bank of Canada–style web accessibility expectations: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust experiences for all users — survivor-led, not corporate gloss.
Conformance target
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the readiness path, partner flows, governance pages, and core navigation — consistent with Canadian federal institution accessibility practice as of June 2026.
Institutional design system
Our June 2026 UI refactor unifies layout, forms, and surfaces under a single token SSOT (design-tokens/tokens.json) with an institutional CSS layer for focus rings, trust bands, and form fields. Public pages use semantic landmarks, breadcrumbs, and 44×44px touch targets.
- Trust band and footer policy strip for safeguarding transparency.
- InstField form primitives — labels, errors, 16px inputs on all intake flows.
- InstSurface + InstField primitives — unified institutional UI across 71 routes.

Measures in place
- Skip-to-content link and visible 3px focus rings on all interactive elements.
- Minimum 44×44px touch targets on primary actions and mobile navigation.
- Semantic landmarks, headings, and breadcrumb navigation on key pages.
- Form labels, error states, and 16px minimum input size to prevent zoom traps.
- Reduced motion respects prefers-reduced-motion system setting.
- Design token SSOT for consistent colour contrast auditing via verify:design-tokens.
