1. Purpose
The 777 Foundation Society is a survivor-led BC society. This policy sets minimum safeguarding standards for peer cohorts, volunteer roles, digital tools, and consent-based referrals.
2. Scope boundaries
- We do not provide emergency response, legal representation, or clinical therapy.
- Facilitators redirect crisis situations to 911 or 988 immediately.
- Volunteers do not give legal or clinical advice in any channel.
3. Participant privacy
- No public naming of participants, employers, or case details.
- Consent required before any referral or information sharing.
- Minimum necessary information only in referral packets.
- Group sessions avoid collecting unnecessary identifiers.
4. Digital safeguarding
- AI Guide is scope-limited — no PII in chat; see /docs/ai-scope/.
- Incident reports reviewed within 48 hours for scope breaches.
- Admin analytics are aggregate and de-identified only.
5. Facilitator duties
- Complete onboarding at /portal/training/ before facilitating.
- Use per-session checklist at /admin/cohort/.
- Report concerns via /safeguarding/ incident form.
